Job Description

A Product Sales Telecaller's job involves making outbound calls to potential customers to generate leads and sales, explaining product features, handling inbound inquiries, resolving issues, and updating customer records, all while meeting sales targets, requiring strong communication, persuasion, and resilience to handle rejection and high call volumes. They act as the initial point of contact, nurturing interest and guiding prospects into the sales funnel. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Calling: Contact potential and existing customers to introduce products/services.
  • Lead Generation: Identify new prospects and convert inquiries into sales.
  • Product Knowledge: Effectively explain product benefits, features, and pricing.
  • Customer Engagement: Build rapport, understand needs, and persuade customers to buy or book appointments.
  • Inbound Handling: Address incoming calls, queries, and complaints professionally.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate call logs, update customer databases (CRM), and document interactions.
  • Sales Targets: Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
  • Follow-ups: Nurture leads and check in with existing clients.
  • Reporting: Provide feedback to sales teams and management.
