Role Overview

IIEMR is looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager who can manage and grow our digital presence across platforms. The role involves creating engaging content, promoting institute activities, highlighting student success stories, and amplifying major events organized by IIEMR.

Key Responsibilities• Plan and execute social media strategies for IIEMR and its events• Manage and grow platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter (X)• Create engaging content including posts, reels, stories, and short videos• Promote IIEMR initiatives, courses, workshops, and student achievements• Handle social media coverage for major events like marathons, festivals, and conferences organized by IIEMR• Develop creative campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and student inquiries• Coordinate with the design and video team for creatives and reels• Monitor analytics and prepare monthly social media performance reports• Stay updated with latest digital and social media trendsKey Skills Required• Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook algorithms• Excellent content writing and storytelling skills• Knowledge of reels, short video content, and viral content strategies• Basic knowledge of graphic tools (Canva / Photoshop) and video editing apps• Ability to manage live event coverage and real-time social media updates• Creativity, planning skills, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, or Event Management• 1–3 years experience in social media management or digital marketing• Experience in education, events, or lifestyle brands will be an advantageWhat the Candidate Will Work On• Social media campaigns for IIEMR programs and admissions• Coverage of major events and festivals organized by IIEMR• Student engagement content and industry collaborations• Building IIEMR as a thought leader in event management education.
