Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-potential keywords that the target audience uses. Analyze search volume, competition, and user intent to inform content strategy and website optimization. 
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements, to align with target keywords. This includes optimizing meta titles, descriptions, headings (H1-H6), URLs, and image alt tags. Ensure content is user-friendly, relevant, and provides value to visitors. 
  • Technical SEO: Identify and resolve technical SEO issues that may hinder a website's crawlability and indexability by search engines. This involves optimizing website architecture, site speed, mobile-friendliness, URL structure, internal linking, schema markup, robots.txt, and sitemap.xml. 
  • Off-Page Optimization: Develop and implement off-page SEO strategies to build the website's authority and reputation. This primarily involves link building, acquiring high-quality backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites. Other off-page activities may include brand mentions, social media promotion, and online PR. 
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with the target audience's needs and search intent. Provide guidance on keyword integration, content structure, and formatting to maximize organic visibility. 
  • Website Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Generate regular reports to track progress, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors' SEO strategies to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve. Monitor their keyword rankings, backlink profiles, and content strategies to inform your own approach. 
  • Algorithm Updates and Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm updates, SEO trends, and best practices. Adapt strategies and techniques accordingly to maintain and improve website performance. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing team members, including content creators, web developers, and social media specialists, to ensure a cohesive and integrated online marketing strategy. 
  • SEO Audits: Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies to enhance website performance. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors. 
  • Proficiency in keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and search console platforms (e.g., Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools). 
  • Solid understanding of on-page and technical SEO best practices.
  • Knowledge of link building strategies and techniques. 
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress. 
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is often beneficial. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field is often preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and implement social media strategies that align with marketing goals and target audience. Define objectives, identify target platforms, and determine the most effective tactics to achieve desired outcomes. 
  • Content Creation and Curation: Create engaging and relevant content (text, images, videos, etc.) tailored to different social media platforms and audiences. Curate valuable content from other sources to share with followers. 
  • Social Media Platform Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the organization's social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring conversations, and engaging with followers. Ensure brand consistency in tone and messaging across all platforms. 
  • Community Engagement: Foster a strong online community by actively interacting with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner, and building relationships with key influencers. 
  • Social Media Advertising: Plan, execute, and manage social media advertising campaigns to reach a wider audience, promote content, and achieve specific marketing objectives (e.g., lead generation, website traffic). 
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track and analyze social media performance metrics (e.g., engagement rate, reach, website clicks, conversions) using platform analytics tools. Generate reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. 

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices. Identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing team members, including SEO specialists, content creators, and designers, to ensure a cohesive and integrated online marketing strategy. 
  • Reputation Management: Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and sentiment. Address any negative feedback or issues professionally and proactively to protect the brand's reputation. 
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors' social media presence and strategies to identify opportunities and inform your own approach. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an SMO Specialist, Social Media Manager, or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok) and their best practices. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and platform-appropriate content. 
  • Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, platform-native analytics).
  • Knowledge of social media advertising principles and best practices.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are often a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Creative thinking and a passion for social media.
