Job Description
- Install grid-connected (on-grid) solar PV systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Mount solar panels on rooftops, ground structures, or elevated mounting systems as per design.
- Install and connect on-grid inverters, ACDB, DCDB, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Perform DC and AC cabling, conduit routing, and proper cable termination.
- Ensure correct system alignment, tilt angle, and structural stability of mounting structures.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and synchronization with the utility grid.
- Verify system performance parameters such as voltage, current, polarity, and insulation resistance.
- Assist in net-metering connectivity and DISCOM compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and perform corrective actions at site.
- Follow electrical safety standards, PPE usage, and site safety protocols.
- Maintain installation tools, equipment, and site documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients during installation.
- Provide basic operation guidance to customers after commissioning.
- Report daily installation progress and site status to project team.
- Support maintenance or service visits when required.
