Sr. Manager Interior Designer

Role Objective:To manage interior construction projects from design coordination to site execution, ensuring quality, timelines, cost control, and coordination with architects, vendors, and project teams.

• Key Responsibilities:1. Interior Project ManagementManage end-to-end interior project execution.
• Monitor site progress as per drawings and timelines.
• Ensure quality standards in interior work execution.
• Coordinate with contractors and site engineers.
• 2. Interior Design CoordinationReview interior layouts, furniture drawings, and design concepts.
• Coordinate with architects and consultants for design approvals.
• Ensure proper implementation of design specifications at site.
• Suggest practical improvements in design execution.
• 3. Furniture & Material KnowledgeGood understanding of modular furniture, loose furniture, and custom furniture.
• Knowledge of interior materials (plywood, laminates, stone, glass, hardware).
• Vendor coordination for furniture production and installation.
• Quality inspection of furniture before installation.
• 4. Site ManagementDaily site supervision and progress tracking.
• Ensure manpower planning and productivity.
• Monitor safety compliance at interior sites.
• Coordination with civil, electrical and MEP teams.
• 5. Vendor & Contractor ManagementCoordinate with interior contractors and suppliers.
• Review BOQ and material specifications.
• Monitor vendor timelines and quality of work.
• Resolve site execution challenges.
• 6. Planning & ReportingPrepare project schedules and track progress.
• Share daily/weekly progress reports.
• Monitor project deadlines and escalation of delays.
• Maintain project documentation.
• 7. Cost ControlMonitor project costs as per approved BOQ.
• Control wastage of materials.
• Verify contractor bills.
• Suggest cost optimization methods.
• 8. Team ManagementLead site supervisors and designers.
• Conduct site review meetings.
• Ensure team coordination for smooth execution.
