Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly reliable and motivated Store Helper/Operations Assistant to support our daily store and sales operations. The ideal candidate will be the backbone of our order fulfillment process, managing everything from initial order booking and billing to material dispatch and inventory handling. This role requires strong reliability, excellent organizational skills, and a professional demeanor for client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order Management & Sales Support

Order Booking: Efficiently process and book orders received via inbound phone calls and directly from sales personnel.

Billing: Generate accurate and timely invoices/bills for all booked orders using a company laptop/system.

Client Query Handling: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, courteously addressing and resolving queries regarding orders, billing, and material availability.

2. Material & Inventory Handling

Dispatch Coordination: Prepare and manage the necessary documentation for outgoing material dispatches, ensuring correct quantities and timely delivery coordination.

Incoming Material: Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming material/stock. Coordinate with relevant personnel regarding discrepancies or quality issues.

Inventory Assistance: Assist in basic physical counting and organizing of stock as needed.

3. Administrative Support

Maintain organized digital and physical records of all orders, billing, dispatch, and incoming materials.

Perform all duties using a company-provided laptop/desktop system.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Technical Skills: Must be comfortable and proficient in operating a laptop and basic computer applications (e.g., data entry, generating documents).

Language: Basic proficiency in spoken and written English is required for communication and documentation.

Reliability: A very high degree of reliability is essential. The candidate must be prepared to take very few leaves to ensure continuity of store operations.

Work Ethic: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Communication: Professional phone etiquette and a customer-focused attitude.
