Solar Installation Supervisor

Job Summary

The Solar Installation Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing on-site solar installation activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and as per technical and quality standards for rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily solar installation activities at site
• Coordinate with survey, engineering, and installation teams
• Ensure proper installation of solar modules, mounting structures, inverters, cables, and batteries
• Verify electrical connections as per approved drawings and standards
• Monitor installation quality, workmanship, and safety compliance
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and basic troubleshooting
• Ensure availability and correct use of tools, materials, and safety equipment
• Maintain site records, installation checklists, and daily progress reports
• Coordinate customer handover and explain basic system operation
• Support maintenance and service work when required
• Collect installation photographs and customer feedback when needed
• Daily Team reporting

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of solar PV installation (On-grid, Off-grid, Hybrid)
• Understanding of electrical wiring, inverters, batteries, and earthing
• Ability to read Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and layout drawings
• Good problem-solving and team supervision skills
• Knowledge of site safety practices and PPE usage

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy
• Solar installation certification preferred

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience as a Solar Installation Supervisor or senior installer
• Hands-on experience in complete solar project execution

• Field-based role (project sites)
• Base location: Jaipur
