Job Description

A Product Telesales Executive drives revenue by selling products or services directly to new and existing customers via telephone. They are responsible for making outbound cold calls, handling inbound inquiries, pitching product benefits, negotiating, and closing sales to meet monthly targets. They must maintain accurate records in CRM systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Generation: Initiating outbound calls to potential customers, cold calling, and following up on leads to generate sales.
  • Product Promotion: Explaining product features, benefits, and special offers to prospective clients.
  • Target Achievement: Meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building rapport, handling customer complaints, answering questions, and maintaining customer records in a CRM.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Overcoming objections and persuading potential customers to purchase product

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and a clear, persuasive phone manner.
  • Experience: Previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, or a customer-oriented sales role is typically required.
  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, patience, and the ability to handle rejection and work in a high-pressure environment. [1, 5, 8, 12]

Common Education/Background

  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum); a degree in business or marketing is often preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet or no target
