Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth in our Health Insurance vertical. The candidate will be responsible for developing corporate and retail business, managing partnerships, and achieving revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and expand health insurance business through corporate and retail channels
Identify new business opportunities, corporate clients, and strategic alliances
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for health insurance products
Lead negotiations, finalize deals, and close high-value corporate accounts
Coordinate with internal operations and servicing teams for smooth policy issuance and renewals
Manage renewal business and ensure high client retention
Conduct presentations and product briefings for corporate clients
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company policies
Eligibility & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA preferred)
Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Health Insurance sales or business development
Strong knowledge of retail and group health insurance products
Experience working with corporate insurance channels will be an added advantage
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Target-driven mindset with strong analytical and planning abilities
