Job Description

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for managing and expanding the sales network within an assigned territory. The role involves overseeing the performance of sales teams, achieving sales targets, and developing long-term relationships with key customers. The TSM will work closely with the regional management team to strategize and execute sales plans, ensuring consistent growth in revenue and market share within the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.

Monitor sales performance and market trends to adjust strategies as needed.

Track and analyze sales data to make informed decisions and reports for senior management.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales executives, ensuring they meet their individual and team sales targets.

Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to improve team performance.

Lead regular sales meetings and training sessions to maintain team motivation and update them on product knowledge.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and dealers in the territory.

Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Identify new business opportunities by understanding customer needs and market demands.

Operational Excellence:

Ensure sales processes and operations are followed efficiently and in compliance with company policies.

Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery and promotional activities.

Manage budgets and financial objectives for the territory.
