About the Role

We are seeking a creative, fast-paced, and trend-savvy YouTube Shorts Creator & Editor to develop highly engaging short-form videos that drive views, subscribers, and brand engagement. You’ll play a key role in helping our brand grow on YouTube and other short-form platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok, creating content that is on-trend, scroll-stopping, and optimized for virality.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, film (if required), and edit 15–60 second YouTube Shorts, Reels, and vertical videos aligned with current trends and platform algorithms.
• Transform long-form content into high-impact shorts by identifying hooks, highlights, and value-driven snippets.
• Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, sound effects, and trending audio to increase viewer retention.
• Work with the content and marketing teams to brainstorm creative ideas, storyboards, and scripts.
• Maintain a consistent brand tone, aesthetic, and content quality across all videos.
• Stay updated with YouTube Shorts trends, hashtags, and algorithm changes to optimize reach and engagement.
• Manage and organize video assets, templates, and project files for efficient workflows.
• Edit 3–5 Shorts per week (or more depending on output goals).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing and short-form content creation.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok formats, trends, and algorithms.
• Creative storytelling skills and an eye for visual aesthetics and pacing.
• Ability to independently manage projects and deliver quick turnarounds.
• Basic motion graphics, typography, and captioning skills are essential.
• Knowledge of content optimization and analytics is a plus.
