Job Title: Steward (Waiter)

Location: Sequoia Café

Job Summary:

Sequoia Café is seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Steward (Waiter) to provide excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a pleasant dining experience while maintaining Sequoia Café’s service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and assist them with seating
• Present menus and explain food and beverage items
• Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
• Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and handle requests politely
• Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas
• Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards of Sequoia Café
• Handle bills and payments when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/steward in a café or restaurant preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, well-groomed, and professional appearance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
