Web Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Flutter Developer to lead the development of our next-generation live streaming platform. You will be responsible for implementing high-performance video streaming using WebRTC and managing real-time signaling and interactivity through Node.js and Socket.io. The ideal candidate has deep experience in handling peer-to-peer (P2P) connections, media stream optimization, and state management in complex mobile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Core Feature Development: Build and maintain high-quality live streaming features in Flutter using the flutter_webrtc package.

Signaling Architecture: Design and implement robust signaling servers using Node.js and Socket.io to facilitate WebRTC handshakes (Offer/Answer/ICE candidates).

Performance Optimization: Optimize video/audio codecs, bitrates, and latency to ensure a smooth user experience even on variable network conditions (3G/4G/5G).

Real-time Interactivity: Develop real-time features such as live chat, "Press 1" interactions, and viewer count updates using persistent socket connections.

Custom UI/UX: Implement custom participant layouts, picture-in-picture (PiP) modes, and complex animations for a superior streaming interface.

Backend Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to integrate JWT-based authentication and secure media room management.

Technical Requirements

Flutter & Dart: 3+ years of commercial experience in Flutter development.

WebRTC Expertise: Proven experience with flutter_webrtc, ICE servers (STUN/TURN), and SDP negotiation. Familiarity with SFU (Selective Forwarding Unit) or MCU (Multipoint Control Unit) architectures like Mediasoup, Janus, or LiveKit is a huge plus.

Backend Skills: Proficient in Node.js and Socket.io for real-time event-based communication.

State Management: Advanced knowledge of state management solutions such as Bloc, Riverpod, or Provider.

Networking: Strong understanding of WebSockets, HTTP/2, and RESTful APIs.

Media Handling: Experience with camera/microphone permissions, foreground services, and hardware acceleration on Android and iOS.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with HLS or RTMP for fallback mechanisms.

Knowledge of Truecaller Verified SDK or similar identity verification tools for live environments.

Previous experience building "Social Audio" or "Live Commerce" applications.

Experience with TDS compliance and automated billing systems within streaming apps.
