Data Entry Operator

We are a growing sportswear retail business in Jalandhar looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to manage inventory-related data using our inventory management software. This role is critical in ensuring accurate stock records, purchase entries, and daily operational data that support business decisions.

This is a hands-on role requiring discipline, accuracy, and daily reporting to seniors and the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter purchase, stock movement, and inventory data into inventory management software
• Maintain accurate SKU-wise stock records (inward / outward / balance)
• Update daily business-related data as instructed by seniors
• Coordinate with store staff for stock verification and corrections
• Prepare and submit daily inventory & data reports
• Identify data mismatches and report discrepancies immediately
• Ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and system discipline

Must-Have Skills

• Basic computer knowledge (keyboard speed + accuracy)
• Comfortable working on inventory or billing software
• Attention to detail and error-free data entry
• Ability to follow processes and daily reporting discipline
• Basic understanding of retail inventory (preferred but not mandatory)

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in retail / garment / sportswear store
• Familiarity with SKU-based inventory systems
• Basic Excel or spreadsheet knowledge
• Previous data entry / back-office experience

Compensation Details
