Fashion Designer

We are seeking a creative and passionate Fashion Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for color, texture, and detail, as well as a deep understanding of current fashion trends and the technical aspects of garment construction. You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative clothing, accessories, and footwear that align with our brand’s vision and target market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trend Research & Concept Development:

• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, fabrics, and techniques.

• Develop mood boards, color stories, and design concepts based on seasonal themes.

• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and sketch initial ideas.

2. Design & Development:

• Create original designs and translate them into sketches, digital illustrations, and technical drawings.

• Select appropriate fabrics, colors, and materials for each design.

• Work closely with pattern makers and sample makers to ensure accurate realization of designs.

• Adjust and refine designs based on feedback from the design team and technical staff.

3. Collection Management:

• Develop a cohesive collection that aligns with the brand’s identity and customer profile.

• Ensure that all designs are consistent in quality and style across the collection.

• Manage timelines and deadlines for the collection, ensuring timely delivery of all designs.

4. Technical & Production Oversight:

• Oversee the production process, including fittings, adjustments, and quality control.

• Work with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors to source materials and manage production costs.

• Ensure that final products meet the brand’s quality standards and specifications.

5. Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with the marketing and merchandising teams to align designs with market needs.

• Present designs and collections to senior management, buyers, and clients.

• Stay updated with industry developments and competitors’ products.

6. Innovation & Sustainability:

• Explore new techniques, materials, and processes to push the boundaries of design.

• Incorporate sustainable practices in design and production to minimize environmental impact.
