RAC Engineer

Job Role:Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems to ensure smooth functioning of HVAC equipment.

• Key Responsibilities:Install and commission AC, refrigeration units, chillers, cold rooms, and HVAC systems
• Perform regular preventive maintenance of all cooling systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and gas-related faults
• Check system performance, temperature, pressure, and refrigerant levels
• Handle refrigerant gas charging, leak testing, and welding/brazing work
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures
• Maintain service records, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate with the technical team for system improvements
• Attend emergency breakdowns and provide quick resolution
• Required Skills:Strong knowledge of HVAC, AC, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of cooling cycles, refrigeration gases, and electrical basics
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Qualification & Experience:ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
