Job Title: Senior Accountant

Role Summary

Responsible for deep analysis of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and revenue performance. Focused on financial structure, profitability, and accuracy of reported numbers. Provides management with clear financial insights and risk indicators.

Key Responsibilities

1. Balance Sheet Analysis

• Review and monitor assets, liabilities, and equity structure

• Analyze working capital components (receivables, payables, inventory)

• Track debt levels, interest obligations, and financial ratios

• Identify inconsistencies, unusual movements, and risk exposure

• Ensure proper classification and reconciliation of accounts

2. Revenue & Profitability Monitoring

• Analyze revenue trends (monthly, quarterly, annual)

• Monitor gross profit, contribution margin, and net profit

• Identify revenue leakage, pricing gaps, and margin erosion

• Segment-wise revenue and profitability analysis

• Compare actual performance against targets and forecasts

3. Financial Statement Review

• Examine P&L for cost structure efficiency

• Ratio analysis: liquidity, solvency, profitability, turnover

• Variance analysis between periods

• Ensure financial statements reflect true and fair position

4. Reporting & Management Insights

• Prepare financial dashboards and summary reports

• Highlight financial risks and corrective actions

• Support decision-making with data-backed analysis

• Present concise financial interpretations to management

Qualifications

• Qualified CMA

• Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting standards

• 2+ years experience in financial analysis role
