*Job Profile: Toolroom Supervisor**

**Role Summary:**

The Toolroom Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our toolroom, ensuring the efficient maintenance and availability of tools and dies. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in machining and tooling processes, who can coordinate effectively with production teams to maintain quality and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Supervision and Management:**

 - Oversee the toolroom team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.

 - Allocate tasks and monitor the performance of toolroom personnel, providing guidance and training as necessary.

- **Tool and Die Maintenance:**

 - Ensure timely maintenance, repair, and availability of all tools and dies to support uninterrupted production.

 - Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

- **Coordination with Production Teams:**

 - Collaborate with production managers and teams to understand tooling requirements and address any issues promptly.

 - Ensure seamless communication between the toolroom and production floor to optimize manufacturing processes.

- **Quality and Safety Standards:**

 - Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring all tools and dies meet specified tolerances and quality benchmarks.

 - Implement and enforce safety protocols within the toolroom, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

- **Process Improvement:**

 - Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in tooling operations.

 - Stay updated with the latest advancements in toolroom technology and incorporate best practices.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:**

 - Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering.

 - Additional diploma or certification in tools and dies is highly desirable.

- **Experience:**

 - 3–7 years of relevant experience in toolroom operations, preferably within the hand tools manufacturing industry.

 - Proven experience in supervising a team and managing toolroom activities.

- **Technical Skills:**

 - Strong knowledge of machining and tooling processes, including CNC machining, milling, grinding, and lathing.

 - Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

 - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various departments.
