Computer Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate TGT Computer Teacher to teach students up to Class 8/10. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make computer education engaging and practical for students.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver computer science lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
• Teach fundamental computer concepts, including:
• Basics of Computers
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Internet & Email Usage
• Programming Basics (Scratch / HTML / Basic Coding)
• Conduct practical lab sessions and ensure hands-on learning.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom and computer lab.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of computer lab equipment.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and teaching methodologies.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and parent-teacher interactions.
• Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
• B.Ed. (Preferred / Mandatory as per school norms)
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school (preferred)
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of computer fundamentals and basic programming
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for school students
• Basic troubleshooting skills for computer systems
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Additional RequirementsFemale candidates preferred (if applicable as per school policy)
• Ability to handle classes up to Grade 8/10
