Job Description
A telecaller (also known as a telemarketer or call center representative) typically works in customer service or sales, contacting potential or existing customers over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:-
1.Outbound Calls
- Contact potential or existing customers to promote products or services.
- Inform customers about new offerings, discounts, or updates.
2.Inbound Calls:-
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
- Provide information about products, services, or promotions.
3. **Lead Generation:**
- Generate leads for sales teams by qualifying potential customers.
- Maintain an updated list of leads and clients.
4. **Sales:**
- Attempt to close sales during calls by convincing customers to make purchases.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products or services.
5. **Customer Service:**
- Assist customers with issues, follow up on inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolve product or service problems and ensure a positive customer experience.
6. **Data Entry:**
- Keep accurate records of calls, customer interactions, and sales.
- Update customer databases and ensure information is current.
7. **Target Achievement:**
- Meet set sales or service targets, such as call volume or conversion rates.

### **Typical Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent (some roles may require a degree).
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or call center operations is a plus.
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry and using customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
