Job Purpose: The Executive - Stores is responsible for executing inventory control processes, managing material flow, and ensuring accurate documentation in support of business and supply chain operations. This role focuses on maintaining stock accuracy, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring smooth material transactions. The Executive will work closely with internal teams to optimize inventory levels, track materials, and support operational efficiency.
Executive Stores
Inventory Management & Control:
Assist in implementing standard systems, templates, and processes for effective inventory management.
Track and monitor material requirements at the site, raising Purchase Requests (PR) for approval and following up on Purchase Orders (PO).
Conduct routine reconciliation of materials received, consumed, and accounted for, including contractor-related material usage.
Support the codification of materials and ensure proper mapping with GST compliance.
Update and maintain inventory records in SAP, ensuring accurate tracking of material issues, procurement, and storage activities.
Operational Efficiency:
Verify and document all inbound materials upon receipt, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of required materials to end-users.
Organize stacking, storage, and preservation of inbound materials, adhering to standard procedures.
Track material availability and manage inventory levels at warehouses/stores for optimal utilization.
Execute material issue processes, updating inventory records immediately after goods are released.
Address site-specific SAP challenges, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assist in managing scrap disposal processes, ensuring compliance with disposal regulations.
Financial & Asset Management:
Assist in monitoring asset liquidation and optimizing resources by managing excess or obsolete materials.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and site-specific material accounting processes.
People & Performance Management:
Support the stores team in daily operations, ensuring alignment with performance goals and operational objectives.
Provide feedback on operational improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain up-to-date documentation in SAP, recording material receipts, issues, and stock levels.
Prepare MIS reports on material transactions, including receipt, issue, and storage planning.
Ensure timely completion of all documentation and inventory records to enhance operational efficiency

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, BSc or a related area and Diploma in Material Management
Work Experience (Range of years):
5-10 Years
Preferred Industry:
Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or related fields, with hands-on expertise in SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory and procurement.
Strong knowledge of GST, material codification, and compliance regulations.
