Key Responsibilities

Consult with Clients: Discuss design, alteration, or repair requirements to ensure specifications are met.

Take Measurements: Accurately measure clients to ensure garments fit correctly.

Sew and Alter Garments: Construct, modify, and repair clothing based on customer instructions, including tapering pant legs, shortening sleeves, and adding padding.

Maintain Equipment: Operate sewing machines and other equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and in good working order.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of fashion trends and new sewing techniques to offer informed advice to clients.
