Deputy Manager - Rail Operations
Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo ensure Timely Rake release at 3rd Party locations. Monitoring of Maint. Activity at base depot.Responsible for being part of team driving Rail Planning and execution through Logistics Operations & Command Centre.Identify factors affecting rake performance and execute improvement plans and processes prescribed by Management.Operational Responsibilities Bringing in improvements focused on efficiencies in Processes (System (i.e. LOCC, TOS), Non-System (On ground))MIS and identify the factors affecting performance and execute corrective measures as planned.Responsible for Local Railway Co-ordination sites and Rail divisions of CKP and KGP divisionDevelop strategic networking in Railways for assistance in day-to-day operations, project works and key information for bringing out excellence in Rail Ops.Coordinating Inventory flow and ensure faster TAT and optimal utilization of available inventory. Ensure ‘Nil’ loss of loading due to non-availability of inventoryPeople ManagementTimely co-ordination with central team to resolve any kind of escalationCoordination with other team members: terminal and GPWIS operation team, sales, techno commercial, invoicing and finance.Educational Qualification:- Diploma / Graduate in any stream
- 3+ years of relevant Experience in Rail Operations/Yard Operations/Terminal Operations.
