Production Plant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager (Production) to oversee end-to-end plant operations for biochar production facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, ensuring profitability, maintaining quality and compliance standards, and leading cross-functional plant teams. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and safe production while supporting Ground Up’s mission in sustainable agriculture and carbon solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, maintenance systems, and industrial safety.
• Experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with environmental compliance and regulatory standards.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and startup environments.
