Quality and Production Supervisor (Textile Printing)

Location: Jetpur, Gujarat

Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Quality and Production Supervisor to join our team in Jetpur. This is a hands-on field role critical to our operations, requiring daily visits to multiple partner factories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our production schedules are met and that all printed textiles adhere to our stringent quality standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Factory Visits: Travel to and inspect 6-7 different textile printing factories in the Jetpur area daily.

• Production Monitoring: Oversee the production process at each factory to ensure work is progressing according to schedule and production targets are being met.

• Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on printed fabrics. This includes inspecting for color accuracy, print clarity, design registration, fabric defects, and overall finish.

• Process Adherence: Ensure that all printing and finishing processes are being carried out as per the required specifications.

• Dispatch Management: Supervise the final inspection, folding, and packaging of goods to ensure they are correctly prepared for dispatch.

• Reporting: Maintain a detailed daily log of production status, quality inspection results, rejections, and dispatch details for each factory.

• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between our company and the factory floor managers, effectively communicating any issues, feedback, or instructions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience in the textile industry is a must.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabrics, textile printing techniques (e.g., screen, rotary, digital), and the dyeing process. You should be able to identify quality issues and their root causes.

• Language: Fluency in Hindi is mandatory for clear communication with factory workers and managers. Knowledge of Gujarati is a plus.

• Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for detail to spot even minor defects in prints and fabrics.

• Mobility: Must be willing and able to travel to multiple locations daily. Having your own vehicle (two-wheeler) is highly preferred.

• Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively across several factory sites.

• Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who can work independently, identify potential problems, and take initiative to solve them.

Work Schedule

• Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
