Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machine Operator with at least 1 year of experience in operating conventional or CNC lathe machines. The candidate will be responsible for machining components with precision as per drawings and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate lathe machines (manual / conventional / CNC turning)
• Perform facing, turning, threading, drilling, and knurling operations
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
• Set up tools, job alignment, and machine parameters
• Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments
• Perform routine machine maintenance and lubrication
• Monitor production quality and minimize rejection
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work area

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of lathe operations and machining processes
• Ability to read technical drawings and tolerances
• Hands-on experience with Vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge
• Basic understanding of cutting tools and materials
• Problem-solving ability for minor machine issues

Qualification:ITI (Turner) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience:Minimum 1 year experience as a Lathe Machine Operator
• Preferred Skills:Experience in CNC turning (Fanuc/Siemens controller)
• Knowledge of tool offsets and basic programming
• Experience working in production environments
