Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Head Mistress

To nurture young learners in a safe, joyful, and stimulating environment by promoting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based and activity-oriented learning.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

Plan and conduct age-appropriate, play-way, and experiential learning activities.

Teach basic concepts of language, numbers, colours, shapes, rhymes, and stories.

Develop lesson plans aligned with school curriculum and learning outcomes.

Use TLMs (Teaching Learning Materials), flashcards, puppets, and audio-visual aids.

Encourage curiosity, creativity, and communication skills.

Child Care & Classroom Management

Maintain a warm, safe, and hygienic classroom environment.

Observe and record each child’s progress and developmental milestones.

Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement.

Ensure child safety during class, playtime, and transitions.

Assessment & Reporting

Conduct informal assessments through observation and activities.

Prepare progress reports and portfolios for each child.

Share feedback with parents during PTMs.

Parent & School Coordination

Maintain regular communication with parents regarding child progress.

Participate in school events, celebrations, and workshops.

Collaborate with coordinators and fellow teachers for planning activities.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma / Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE)

OR Graduation with NTT / Montessori / PPTTC
