Electronics Technician

📝 Job Summary:

An Electronics Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment and systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and diagnostic tools to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electronic systems and equipment
• Diagnose faults in circuits, components, and systems using testing devices (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes)
• Repair or replace defective parts and components
• Assemble and wire electronic systems according to technical drawings and schematics
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Calibrate electronic instruments and control systems
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Follow safety standards and company procedures
• Assist engineers in system upgrades and improvements

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field
• Proven experience as an electronics technician (preferred)
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and diagnostics
