Field Service Engineer

A Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing of Canon Photocopiers and plotter printers at customer sites, providing on-site troubleshooting, technical support, and customer training while ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Commissioning:
• Install new equipment and systems at customer locations according to specifications. 
• Perform system configuration and testing to ensure proper functionality. 
• Conduct initial customer training on equipment operation. 
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on installed equipment. 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. 
• Repair or replace faulty components as needed. 
• Coordinate with parts suppliers for necessary replacements. 
• Customer Support:
• Respond to customer service calls and inquiries promptly. 
• Provide technical assistance and support to customers on-site. 
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively. 
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed. 
• Generate service reports including findings, actions taken, and customer feedback. 
• Update customer information and system databases.
