Joinery Draftsman (Interior & Custom Furniture)

Job Summary

Pink Line Interiors is looking for an experienced Joinery Draftsman to prepare detailed shop drawings and production drawings for custom furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, and interior joinery items.

The role is factory-focused and requires strong technical knowledge of cabinet construction, hardware detailing, and manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and production drawings for:
• Modular kitchens
• Wardrobes & walk-in closets
• Vanities
• Wall paneling
• Loose furniture & custom joinery
• Develop section details, fixing details, and assembly drawings
• Prepare cutting lists and BOQs for factory production
• Coordinate with:
• Designers
• Factory production team
• Site execution team
• Ensure drawings are based on site measurements and approved designs
• Incorporate hardware details (hinges, channels, accessories, fittings)
• Revise drawings based on management/client comments
• Prepare as-built drawings when required

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years experience in joinery or furniture drafting
• Strong understanding of:
• Kitchen & wardrobe construction
• Cabinet joinery methods
• Factory production processes
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD (2D) – Mandatory
• SketchUp (preferred)
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate drawings for manufacturing
• Knowledge of materials:
• MDF, plywood, laminates, veneer, solid wood
• Knowledge of hardware systems (hinges, runners, accessories)
• Good technical and coordination skills
