Store Keeper

Job Location: Jaisalmer

Role Overview

Responsible for managing site inventory, materials, and tools efficiently, ensuring proper storage, issuance, and record-keeping to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials
• Handle GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and verify materials against purchase orders
• Issue materials to site teams as per approved indents
• Maintain stock registers, ledgers, and inventory reports
• Monitor stock levels and inform procurement team for reordering
• Ensure proper storage, stacking, and safety of materials
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies
• Track material consumption and minimize wastage
• Maintain records for tools, machinery, and equipment
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and accounts team
• Maintain documentation required for billing and audit (especially govt projects)

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–8 years of experience as a Store Keeper in construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, finishing items, etc.)
• Experience in handling site inventory independently
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, inventory software, Tally preferred)
• Good record-keeping and organizational skills

Qualification

• Graduate / Diploma (any stream)
• Relevant certification in store or inventory management is an added advantage
