Video Editor

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled individual to fill the dual role of Videographer and Social Media Content Creator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage of the design and production process of wooden items created by our CNC machinery, editing this footage into compelling content, and managing its distribution across all our social media platforms to drive brand engagement and visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Videography and Production:

• Plan, shoot, and direct engaging video content showcasing the intricate process of CNC woodworking, machine operation, finished products, and design concepts.
• Maintain and manage all video production equipment.

2. Video Editing and Post-Production:

• Edit raw footage into polished, dynamic videos suitable for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels/Stories, YouTube, Facebook).
• Apply advanced video editing techniques including color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance content quality.
• Ensure all final videos are optimized for specific platform requirements (aspect ratios, length, resolution, etc.).
• Utilize and maintain expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for all editing tasks. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar software is a strong plus.

3. Social Media Management & Strategy:

• Develop a consistent and engaging content calendar specifically for video posts across all designated social media channels.
• Write compelling captions, select relevant hashtags, and schedule posts to maximize audience reach and engagement.
• Monitor social media analytics to assess content performance and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement of video strategy.
• Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments and messages related to video content.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, features, and video formats.

4. Content Planning & Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the design and production teams to identify compelling designs and stories to feature in video content.
• Conceptualize and script video ideas that effectively communicate the value and artistry of the CNC wood designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in product or process-focused content.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is mandatory.
• Strong technical understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
• Demonstrable experience in managing and growing brand presence on major social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).
• Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to daily posting schedules.
• Knowledge of woodworking, CNC machining, or a related industry is highly desirable but not essential.
