Job Description
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Fiber Field Engineer responsible for installation, laying, splicing, and maintenance of optical fiber networks. The candidate will work on field sites to ensure smooth connectivity and network performance.
- Roles & Responsibilities:Perform optical fiber cable laying (underground/overhead)
- Handle fiber splicing and jointing work
- Install and configure fiber network components
- Conduct testing using tools like OTDR and power meter
- Troubleshoot and resolve fiber network issues
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
- Ensure proper documentation of work and reports
- Follow safety standards during field operations
