Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who possesses strong accounting skills and sound knowledge of share transactions, investments, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting activities along with maintaining accurate records related to company or director’s shareholdings and investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily accounting operations including journal entries, invoices, bank reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.

Manage share transactions, including purchase/sale entries, dividend accounting, and capital gain tracking.

Maintain investment portfolios and update records of mutual funds, equity shares, and other securities.

Prepare and file TDS, GST, and income tax returns accurately and on time.

Support in financial statement preparation, audits, and compliance documentation.

Coordinate with brokers, banks, and auditors regarding investment-related activities.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Generate periodic MIS reports, profit/loss statements, and investment summaries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter preferred).

Proficiency in Tally / Excel / accounting software.

Strong understanding of share market concepts, investment tracking, and capital gains.

Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.

Analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and detail.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
