Sourcing

1. Having 12 - 15 Years experience in Global Sourcing of Valve Components Forgings, Bar / Plate made components, Gear Box, Fasteners, Gaskets,  Rubber / Graphite Products, PTFE / Teflon, Welding Consumable, Machining of Casting, Plate machining / fabricated component,  Imports etc.

2.   Experience in Process Knowledge ( like Machining, Fabrication Heat Treatment and Special Process - Coating & Plating)

3. Should have high integrity and maintaining confidentiality. 

4. Experience min 8-10 Years in SAP - MM Module.  

5. Experience and Skills in the following area :-

1. Costing and Estimation
2. Negotiation and Finalisation
3. Contractual Terms & Conditions
4. Rate Contract
5. Global Sourcing
6. Vendor Identification and Development

6. Knowledge required in PED Standards and Quality Requirements.  

7.  Communicate to Supplier of Technical, Quality requirements and Commercial Terms and Conditions.

8. Obtain Techno - Commercial offer, Evaluate Techno-Commercial, Negotiate & finalise the Price and commercial Terms. 

9. Initiate File Note for approval by Procurement committee & Update Finalised Price in SAP.

10. To Ensure On Time Delivery by supporting Buyer to get the materials as per Plan. 

11. To Resolve any disputes with Vendors.

12. Identify  and developing potential vendors for meeting technical & Quality requirement, cost competitive, on time delivery.

13. Team Building.

14. Inter action with Internal Stake holder Engineering, Quality, Production  and Planner to meet Company's Goal and Objectives.

15. Assessing performance of the vendors, vendor rating based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement, timely delivery, credit terms etc.
