Optometrist

We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Optometrist who can independently handle eye testing, frame/lens consultation, and day-to-day store operations in a retail optical environment.

Key Responsibilities 👓

• Conduct accurate eye examinations and refraction
• Recommend suitable lenses, coatings, and frames based on prescription and lifestyle
• Assist customers with frame selection and fitting
• Handle store opening/closing routines
• Manage billing, basic inventory tracking, and order follow-ups
• Coordinate with labs/vendors for lens orders and delivery timelines
• Maintain proper patient testing records
• Ensure smooth customer experience inside the store

Requirements ✅

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Optometry
• Comfortable working in a retail store environment
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Basic computer skills (billing / inventory entry)
• Ability to manage store independently when required

Preferred (but not mandatory) ⭐

• Experience in an optical retail store
• Familiarity with progressive lenses and lens coatings
• Ability to support sales conversions
