Branch Manager- UP & Uttarakhand

Experience Required: 8–15 years in pump industry preferred

Job SummaryThe Branch Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand branch operations, including sales, marketing, channel management, service coordination, and team leadership within the pump industry. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentDrive sales of industrial, agricultural, domestic, or submersible pumps (as applicable).
• Develop and implement branch-level sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, projects, and key accounts across Uttar Pradesh.
• Manage dealer, distributor, and OEM networks.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
• Branch OperationsOversee day-to-day branch operations, including inventory, logistics, and administration.
• Ensure timely order processing, dispatches, and coordination with the factory/head office.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Team ManagementLead, motivate, and manage the sales, service, and support teams.
• Set individual targets and conduct performance reviews.
• Recruit, train, and develop branch staff.
• Customer & Service ManagementBuild strong relationships with key customers, consultants, and government departments.
• Handle major customer negotiations and escalations.
• Coordinate with service teams to ensure prompt after-sales support.
•  Reporting & PlanningPrepare monthly sales forecasts, budgets, and MIS reports.
• Review branch performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Report regularly to senior management.

• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electric & solar pumps, pumping systems, and applications.
• Proven leadership and team-handling skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of the Uttar Pradesh market and dealer network.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.

• Preferred Candidate ProfileExtensive experience in pump manufacturing or pump distribution companies.
• Strong network with dealers, contractors, and government departments in UP.

Result-oriented with strong business acumen.
