Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support overall financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and hands-on experience in Tally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
• Handle GST compliance including return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation, and input tax credit tracking
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and compliance with applicable laws
• Prepare and maintain financial statements such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxation laws
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Practices
• Hands-on experience with Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime)
• In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and Taxation
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Familiarity with income tax regulations and compliance
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
• CA Inter / CMA (preferred but not mandatory)

• Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and auditors
