Job Description
- Staff management: Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse employees, including assigning daily tasks and managing performance.
- Inventory management: Oversee stock levels, conduct regular audits and cycle counts, and maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Operational oversight: Coordinate and monitor the daily activities of receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, including loading and unloading.
- Safety and compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and conduct safety audits.
- Process improvement: Identify inefficiencies and work with management to implement improvements that boost productivity and reduce costs.
- Administrative duties: Handle record-keeping, reporting, scheduling, and inventory documentation.
- Cross-departmental coordination: Work with other departments, such as customer service and transportation, to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders.
