Role Summary

The Collection Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of collection executives to achieve monthly recovery targets for Two-Wheeler and Three-Wheeler loan portfolios. The role involves field supervision, delinquency control, customer follow-ups, and ensuring compliance with company and RBI guidelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management

• Handle and supervise a team of collection executives
• Allocate daily routes and customer cases to executives
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and field performance
• Provide regular coaching and on-field support to team members

Collections & Recovery

• Achieve monthly collection and delinquency targets
• Focus on soft bucket, hard bucket, and NPA recovery
• Ensure timely EMI collections and overdue closures
• Conduct customer visits for critical and high-risk cases
• Handle escalated and dispute cases professionally

Reporting & MIS

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
• Track PTPs, receipts, bounce cases, and rollbacks
• Share performance updates with the Branch Manager / Area Manager

Compliance & Process

• Ensure collections are done as per RBI & company code of conduct
• Avoid aggressive or unethical collection practices
• Maintain proper documentation and receipt handling
• Coordinate with legal, repossession, and backend teams when required

Coordination

• Work closely with sales, credit, and operations teams
• Support repossession, vehicle surrender, and settlement cases
• Assist in customer grievance resolution

Key Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of 2W/3W loan collection process
• Good leadership and team-handling skills
• Ability to work in the field and handle pressure
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, MIS reporting)
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Two-wheeler mandatory; three-wheeler portfolio knowledge is a plus
