Job Description

  • Design & Planning: Prepare/review railway drawings (tracks, bridges, ROBs, culverts, alignments), interpret survey data, and integrate system requirements.
  • Project Execution: Oversee on-site civil works, manage contractors, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
  • Quality & Safety: Implement and enforce quality control (QA/QC) procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to Indian Railway/safety standards and regulations.
  • Coordination: Liaise with design teams, cross-functional departments (electrical, mechanical), third-party suppliers, and government agencies.
  • Documentation: Prepare BOQs, as-built drawings, SOPs, progress reports, and maintain drawing records.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide expert advice on structural/civil aspects, resolve technical challenges, and manage design modifications.
  • Budget & Risk: Assist in budget management, resource allocation, and risk assessment/mitigation.
