Bell Boy / Porter

Job Summary:

The Bell Boy is responsible for greeting and assisting guests with their luggage and ensuring their experience starts positively upon arrival. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor to uphold the establishment's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Assistance

Greet guests warmly and assist them with luggage, packages, and other personal items.

Escort guests to their rooms and provide orientation about room features, hotel facilities, and services.

Offer support with check-in and check-out processes when necessary.

Handling Luggage and Deliveries

Transport luggage to and from guest rooms, cars, or other areas as needed.

Store and retrieve luggage from the storage area promptly and carefully.

Deliver packages, messages, and other items to guest rooms and other parts of the hotel as requested.

Customer Service

Respond to guest inquiries regarding local attractions, directions, and hotel services.

Maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor at all times.

Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance or solutions to enhance their experience.

Maintaining Cleanliness and Order

Keep the lobby and entrance area tidy and welcoming.

Ensure the luggage carts and storage areas are clean and organized.

Additional Duties

Report any guest concerns or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.

Assist with valet services if required.

Perform other duties as assigned by the front office manager or supervisor.
