CO2 Welder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CO₂ Welder (MIG Welder) to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations using CO₂/MIG welding processes to fabricate and assemble metal components according to technical drawings and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CO₂ / MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, or other metals

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols

Set up welding machines, select proper electrodes/wire, gas flow, and parameters

Ensure weld quality, strength, and appearance as per specifications

Conduct visual inspections and basic weld testing

Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition

Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment

Meet daily production targets and timelines

Assist in fabrication, fitting, and grinding work when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant technical certification (preferred)

1–5 years of experience as a CO₂ / MIG Welder

Knowledge of welding techniques, joint types, and materials

Ability to work in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead)

Understanding of workplace safety and welding standards

Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments

Preferred Skills

Experience in heavy fabrication / structural welding

Knowledge of basic fabrication and fitting work

Familiarity with ISO / quality standards

Ability to work independently or in a team

Working Conditions

Factory / workshop environment

Shift duty may apply
