Position : Q A Manager


Definition:

Quality assurance consists of that “part of quality management focused on providing confidence that quality

requirements will be fulfilled.” The confidence provided by quality assurance is twofold—internally to

management and externally to customers, government agencies, regulators, certifiers, and third parties.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality aspect at the site.

Quality control at site Inputs / outputs inspection & records, ensuring production is as per ISO and GFSI norms.

The QA Manager interprets the requirements documentation and technical discussion to develop a concurrent

test project that will verify adherence to the QA process.

Key Responsibilities includes & not limited to:


 Develop, implement and maintain a robust Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001,

BRC and FSSC 22000 standards.

 Develop and implement the private customer requirements in related to product and process safety.

 Handling Private customer audits and online portal maintenance.

 Ensure effective integration of GMP, GHP, and BRC requirements within the QMS.

 Conduct regular internal audits to identify and address potential food safety hazards.

 Monitor and enforce adherence to GMP and GHP principles across all manufacturing operations.

 Implement and maintain procedures that align with industry best practices for hygiene and production

and Quality.

 Develop and implement corrective actions to address any non-conformities identified during internal

and External audits.

 Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and

compliance.

 Conduct regular training sessions to educate employees on GMP, GHP, BRC, FSSC, and ISO

standards.

 Ensure that all staff members are aware of and adhere to quality and safety procedures.

 Establish and maintain a robust supplier quality management program.

 Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure they meet GMP, GHP and Quality standards.

 Manage the documentation system to ensure all quality and food safety-related documents are accurate

and up-to-date.

 Maintain records of audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 Develop and implement processes for addressing and resolving customer complaints related to product

quality.

 Analyze trends in customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

 Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential quality and safety risks in the manufacturing

process.

 Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.

 Ensure that the facility is continuously audit-ready for external inspections from BRC, FSSC, ISO, and

other private customer audit and certification bodies.

 Regularly review and update audit protocols to align with changing standards and regulations.

 Preparation of SOP’s and work instruction procedure and review plan as and when required.

 CCP and OPRP monitoring (Critical Control Points and Operational Prerequisite Programs)

 Overall responsibilities of independently handling the QC operations.

 Responsible to maintain overall documents review and amendment.

 Planning of monthly MOM and MRM and execute further to take the corrective action for the points

discussed in the MOM/MRM.

 Taking care of packaging material regulatory requirements for export and import and also local standard.

 Involving and helping to social audit requirements for all the private customers.

 Product and equipment testing and calibration as per the FSSAI/Legal Meteorology standard’s.
