Job Description
📌 Job Title: Quality Engineer – Automotive
Location: Bidadi
Experience: 3 Years
Industry: Automotive / Manufacturing
- 🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure customer, in-process, and supplier quality as per automotive standards.
- Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor quality KPIs, PPM, rejection trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with production, design, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Prepare and maintain quality documents: PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans.
- Lead problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone techniques.
- 🎯 Desired Skills & QualificationsBE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Automotive Quality
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC
- Good communication & coordination skills
- Experience with OEM / Tier-1 customers preferred
