Restaurant Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient cashier to join our team. As a cashier, you will be responsible for processing sales transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:

Process sales transactions, totaling purchases, and collecting payment

Ensure that prices and quantities are accurate and that any discounts or promotions are applied correctly

Assist customers by answering questions, providing information, and resolving complaints

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and supplies

Stock shelves and assist with inventory management as needed

Count cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure that amounts are correct

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions

Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, customer service, and security
