Job Summary:

The Safety Manager is a statutory role responsible for ensuring compliance with safety provisions, preventing industrial accidents, and implementing effective Occupational Health & Safety systems in the factory.

Roles and Responsibility

·        Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Factories Act and Karnataka Rules, Maintain statutory registers and records, Coordinate inspections with authorities

·        Safety Policy & Systems :Develop and implement safety policies and SOPs ,Ensure machine safety and safe work practices

·        Hazard Identification & Risk Control: Conduct risk assessments and job safety analysis

- Implement control measures

·        Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents and near misses

- Submit reports and maintain records

·        Training & Development: Conduct safety training and awareness programs

·        Emergency Planning : Develop emergency plans and conduct mock drills

·        Occupational Health : Monitor workplace hazards and worker health

·        Safety Committee : Coordinate safety committee activities
