Role OverviewThe Warehouse Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of warehousing, inventory, and logistics operations. The role ensures timely dispatch of customer orders, efficient handling of raw materials, inventory accuracy, and smooth coordination with internal teams and external logistics partners.

• Key Responsibilities1. Transportation & Logistics ManagementPlan and execute timely delivery of customer orders and procurement of raw materials.
• Coordinate with transporters, 3PLs, and logistics partners for smooth shipment movement.
• Obtain freight quotes, negotiate rates, and finalize transportation plans.
• Track shipment status and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
• Resolve logistics issues such as delays, damages, shortages, and claims.
• Optimize transportation modes (FTL, LTL, air, rail, etc.) to balance cost and service.
• Drive logistics cost-saving initiatives and route optimization strategies.
• 2. Warehousing & Inventory ManagementOversee daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, storage, and dispatch.
• Ensure proper documentation and system entries for all material movements.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Prepare inventory, stock aging, inward/outward, and variance reports.
• Supervise warehouse manpower and ensure productivity and safety compliance.
• Implement and sustain 5S practices for an organized warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular audits and operational reviews.
• 3. Process Improvement & Performance ManagementIdentify operational gaps and implement process improvements.
• Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, freight cost, and warehouse productivity.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and service levels.
• 4. ERP & Cross-Functional CoordinationExecute ERP transactions (GRN, dispatch entries, material issue, shipment tracking, PO creation).
• Coordinate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Ensure timely and accurate ERP data entries and system discipline.
• Required Skills & ExperienceStrong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Experience managing third-party transporters and warehouse vendors.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
