Network Admin - Khalapur

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Administrator is responsible for Managing uptime and day to day Operations of Network Infrastructure of DC LAN, Campus Switching (SDA), Wi-fi network, SDWAN/SDN etc.

2. Candidate is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert and possess in-depth knowledge of networking, network devices, DC ACI, Campus LAN (Cisco SDA), WAN, Wi-Fi, SDN/ SDWAN and network monitoring tools and processes.

3. Person should Ensure that all Network components meet their operational targets (SLA).

Job Description

1. Network Administrator will be working at Godrej Khalapur Plant located at khopoli and will handle network projects and network operational tasks at Khalapur Plants.

2. Knowledge and experience in Software Defined Network rollout - In-depth understanding of Switching and routing protocol.

3. Responsible for uptime, capacity management of LAN, WAN, Campus backbone, Internet & WIFI setup at Godrej Khalapur.

4. Expert level technical experience on network access control (NAC), Cisco ISE, Wireless LAN controller (WLC), Wireless Access points is must.

5. Must have good troubleshooting skills on DC LAN, Campus LAN & wireless network, SDWAN and SDN technologies.

6. Project management & vendor management experience of handling large scale project deployment of network at plants.

7. Experience of evaluating new technology in area of Wireless network and DC LAN or Campus LAN switching Network.

8. Administration and management (technical operations) of network infrastructure in support from OEMs like Cisco, Fortinet, and HP etc.

9. Understanding customer-s network and solving network related issues within minimum timelines.

10. Working on tickets raised by customers related to Network issues. Responsible for resolution of L2 and L3 level complex issues.

11. Implements changes to Network infrastructure to correct errors or enhance functionality.

12. Experience on Monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, Cacti, What-s Up etc. will be an advantage.

13. Develops processes for improving operational efficiencies, as well as identifies/implements automation tools for existing manual processes.

14. Prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals/SOPs as documentation of network design and operational requirements.

15. Candidate should have experience facing internal and external audits and should have knowledge on IT standards like ISO 27000 & CMM etc.

16. Good verbal and written communications skills are must.

Qualification Details

• Essential Qualification: Candidate should have Bachelor of Engineering degree (preferred from Mumbai university or equivalent) with 6 to 8 years relevant core networking experience.
• Preferred Qualification: Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in core networking - Routing, Switching, Wireless network, SDN etc.

Experience Details

• Essential Experience: 6 to 8 years relevant core networking experience with Candidate should have Cisco or Fortinet like OEMs professional level technical network & security certifications.
• Preferred Experience: Expert level experience (minimum 5 years) on managing switching and wireless networks.

Special Skill

• Essential : Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in core networking - Routing, Switching, Wireless network, SDN etc.
• Preferred : Should have professional Certifications in CCNP / Fortigate NSE etc.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
• Project handling experience for rollout of network setup across plants.
• Good verbal and written communications are must.
