Instrument Technician

Job Description: ITI Instrument TechnicianRole Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Instrument Technician to join our Infrastructure Development team. This role is critical for ensuring the precision, calibration, and reliable operation of various instrumentation systems that support our testing laboratories and R&D activities.

1. Core Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Calibration: Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of industrial instruments, including sensors, controllers, and transmitters.
• Operational Support: Work within a support team to assist regular technicians in managing the increasing workload of technical installations across testing facilities and office spaces.
• System Reliability: Ensure the high reliability of instrumentation systems that are critical for supporting sensitive R&D and automotive testing projects.
• Breakdown Response: Provide rapid response to equipment breakdowns and execute preventive maintenance schedules to maintain efficiency and timely service.
• Task Management: Effectively divide tasks to ensure coverage across multiple locations, including staff quarters and laboratory sites.

2. Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Must have an ITI and NCTVT (NTC) certification in the Instrumentation trade.
• Stream: Specialized in the Electronics/Mechanical stream relevant to instrumentation.

3. Experience & Age Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial or automotive instrumentation.
• Age Range: Between 21 to 35 years.
• 4. Technical Skills Proficiency in maintaining equipment such as data loggers, pressure gauges, flow meters, and automated control systems.
• Strong understanding of technical documentation and maintenance logs.
• Ability to work in a 3rd party contractual capacity with a focus on operational excellence.
